Heal the World.

Received news this afternoon that Tokyo was struck by an earthquake measuring 8.9 on the richter scale. Me and Liyana were like refreshing the news every 5 minutes.

I gotta admit it, the thought that flash through my mind was actually "Eh, omg, 2NE1 is in TOKYO! ARE THEY ALRIGHT?!" imagine next time no more 2NE1. i think i'll be devastasted.

Not that i never care about the rest of the japanese civilians, but that's just my first thought that struck me. I really sincerely hope that the people in Tokyo are safe from harm, i mean, they're not my family or my friend or whoever but as a fellow human being I can empathize with them and I can feel their grief.

And natural disasters are really unpredictable. Furthermore it's like, Tokyo is an urban jungle, WHERE CAN YOU RUN?!!! You go anywhere also got building collapse on you. When I saw the videos on the news it really felt like the end of the world. Even the boats are swept up onto the road... it's painful to watch.

Anyway. my main point is..

Life is too unpredictable. So live each day like it's your last. I'm really lucky and blessed to be able to live in Singapore, really. Safety within the country. Although sometimes the system sucks but at least our geographical location is good.

Pray everyday for good health and safety, and not just when there is a natural disaster or pandemic, or any other life threatening situation.

I want to make the world a better place.

I hope there isn't much more damage... especially to the neighbouring countries!

Mother Nature, please be kind to all of us. I will treat you well. I will not smoke. I will not throw things into the sea. I will not burn plastic. I will not chop off your trees. I will not set your trees on fire. Please have mercy on us and let us all off.
